For my brief I wanted to choose an essay topic that includes the following: * Plenty of available research materials of interest to me *Will be able to be worked into an essay title that is formed as a question For choosing the topic of my essay, I focused on the questions given on the “Theories, Contexts and Approaches” section: • How does your topic link to your own practice, in either practical or theoretical ways? • How investigation into the selected topic will impact on your creative practice? • Why is it important for you to conduct research into that specific area? • Will your selected topic support the practical work that you aim to undertake in the final stage of your study?
